All clients must sign a service agreement before work begins.
By signing the contract, clients agree to have Middletown Websites build their website and commit to a monthly payment plan based on the package they choose.
Clients are responsible for providing all necessary content (text, images, logos, etc.) unless otherwise agreed.
Once the contract is signed, Middletown Websites will begin building the website.
After the website is completed, a review session will be scheduled with the client.
Upon client approval of the website, the monthly payment plan will be activated.
Middletown Websites expects professional and respectful communication from clients at all times.
We reserve the right to terminate services if a client engages in harassment, abuse, or discriminatory behavior.
Clients are expected to provide feedback and required materials within 7 business days to prevent project delays.

Websites are built using Mobirise. Published using Namecheap
Clients will receive an initial design draft for review within the agreed timeframe.
Two rounds of revisions are included; additional revisions may incur extra charges.
Once approved, the site is connected to the client’s domain purchased through Namecheap.
Middletown Websites will purchase domains via Namecheap on behalf of clients.
Clients can request updates anytime with no additional charge.
Namecheap nameservers are connected to Mobirise for seamless publishing.
Websites are published via Mobirise’s custom domain feature.
All URLs will be cleaned to remove ‘/home.html’ or any unnecessary file extensions.
Proper file import is verified to ensure a functional and professional final product.
3.
Once the website is launched, it becomes the property of the client.
The website will be run through Middletown Websites’ hosting and domain services.
Clients may request updates or changes to their website at any time, free of charge.
Ongoing support and maintenance are included as part of the client’s monthly payment plan.
All content, including text, images, logos, and other materials provided by the client or created specifically for their website, remains the intellectual property of the client.

All client information, including website content and payment details, will be kept confidential.
Middletown Websites reserves the right to update these policies as needed.
Clients will be notified of any significant changes.

Compliance with NY SHIELD Act: Implement safeguards to protect clients' private information, as required by the Stop Hacks and Improve Electronic Data Security Act (SHIELD Act). This includes administrative, technical, and physical measures to secure personal data.

Establish a protocol to notify clients promptly in the event of a data breach involving their personal information, in accordance with New York State laws.
7.
Accurate Privacy Representations: Ensure that all statements regarding your data collection and usage practices are truthful and not misleading, aligning with New York's consumer protection laws.
8.
Adherence to Retention Policies: Retain client information in compliance with New York State's records retention and disposition requirements, and ensure secure disposal of data when no longer needed.
9.
Clear Service Agreements: Include detailed terms in client contracts outlining the scope of services, payment structures, data protection measures, and dispute resolution processes, ensuring compliance with New York State laws.
10.
Clients must provide accurate and legal content for their websites.
Middletown Websites is not liable for any copyright infringement, trademark violations, or unlawful material submitted by clients.
11.
Middletown Websites reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if a client fails to make monthly payments, breaches contract terms, or engages in unlawful activities using their website.
Clients may cancel their monthly plan with 30 days' written notice; however, any unpaid fees must be settled before termination.
12.
Middletown Websites is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, government actions, or internet outages.
